At the plant in Zorbig we develop and manufacture solutions for many industries such as automotive, mechanical engineering, medical, optics, ceramic industry and many more. For highest precision, high erosion rates and short processes we have developed the innovative FLP HIGH PRECISION concept. Cornerstone of this innovative solution are a bending and deformation free machine chassis made of granite, the use of highly absorbing materials and wear-free special bearings with high long-term accuracy, the use of stable torque separate drives and the use of thermally stable tool carrier complemented by an innovative measurement system which combines several interconnected control engineering systems. The machines can be expanded with several moduls (automation, in-feed tables, filters, cooling systems etc.) on request. In addition to the production of fine grinding, lapping and polishing machines, the services include engineering, the overhaul of machinery as well as service and maintenance. Whether it is installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair, or technological support, our service team will provide you with help and advice at any time. In micromachining the product portfolio of the processed materials for surface finishing ranges from tool steel on light and precious metals, glass and plastic to powder metallurgy and ceramic as well as crystalline materials. We offer planned processing in flat honing, fine grinding, lapping and polishing including process documentation, reading documentation and static analysis. The supply of accessories and consumables such as finely binned silicon carbide, boron carbide, fine corundum, honing oils and diamond suspension complements our service spectrum.
