What started in a small, rental office in Wiener Neustadt (lower Austria) 1986, is irreplaceable in todays industry. . The goal of IAG – Industrie Automatisierungsgesellschaft m.b.H besides construction of special-purpose machines was the development and production of automatic presses for the production of brake and friction linings. In cooperation with partners the production of the plants was realised, projects for industrial clients in Austria were put into practice succesful and the export of automatic presses fort he brake pad industry started. The granting of patents for the main components of the machines as well as the highest quality and reliability of the machines made IAG soon be a valued partner of the brake pad industry in Europe. Steadily increasing sales and expanding the product range with industrial furnaces and grinding machines allowed continuous growth. Today, the IAG, which is run by two families, is the world leader in automatic presses and curing ovens for the friction industry. Specifically, this means: More than 300 delivered machines produce about a third of the worldwide demand of brake pads for automotives and commercial vehicles. In recent years, the IAG Automatisierungsgesellschaft mbH added snow-making systems., dust binding technology and test bed engineering tot he product range and is very succesful in these fields. The IAG is remarkable in innovative all-in-one solutions from planning and development to realisation and implemetation including service. Thanks to a competent and experienced team with about 120 employees the IAG is able to fulfill highest requirements for the customers.
